I know that academic education is important but I also believe that teaching your children to be good-hearted and respectful and to have empathy and to be spiritual is just as important.
We must teach our children to be good to one another to make the world a better place. That beats "Common Core" in my book any day of the week!
Eventually they will understand and get the reading and the math and the science but it is up to us, the parents to teach them the foundation for the amazing human beings they will become!
