VIRTUAL FIREPLACE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

'Tis the season for all the holiday cheer and fun you can gather. If you are like me, you may have already started your holiday decorating. 

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanza, it is always fun to get into the spirit of the season. I love to decorate for Christmas with a little Hanukkah twist, as my family celebrates both. I put up lights and bring out my snowmen decorations and make the house look as "wintery" as possible.  However, sometimes, location doesn't always allow for the "winter feel," especially, if you are in Florida, like me.  I would love to have a fireplace to give my house that warm "up North holiday feel," but that would just not make too much sense in hot and sunny F-L-A.

Recently, I  came across a pretty cool video that lets you feel like you actually have a fireplace in your home!  It's a 4K Video of Fireplace Scenes, by a company called UScenes. It's super realistic- looking, with real log fire videos that makes a room feel cozy, especially for the holidays.  It's perfect to put the video on the TV and have it running to make it look like a real fireplace is going.

I love it because you can avoid the expense and hassle of a real fireplace by just turning on the fireplace video.  I also thought it was pretty cool if you are having a  dinner party for the holidays, it adds a little ambiance as well.   

There a lot of different choices for the fireplace scenes and each download (video) includes the choice of a 20 minute TV fireplace video and the choice of a Windows and Mac fireplace computer screensaver.
