INSPIRATIONAL MOM GETS HONORARY M.B.A.

As moms, as parents we make sacrifices for our children all the time, but this mother, uprooted her life to help her quadriplegic son follow his dream of getting his Master of Business Administration (MBA!)

Judy O' Connor followed her son, Marty O' Connor from Florida to Southern California to be his hands and legs. She attended every class with him for two years, taking notes for him and helping write down the answers to test.  In 2012 Marty was left paralyzed after he fell down a flight of stairs and was left without the use of his hands and legs. Judy O'Connor, a retired elementary-school teacher, pushed her son Marty in his wheelchair for him to receive his degree during commencement Saturday at Chapman University in the Los Angeles suburb of Orange County.

During the graduation ceremony at Chapman University, the faculty and Board of Trustees awarded Judy with an honorary M.B.A. degree for her work and sacrifices in helping Marty achieve his goal.

As you can see and hear in the video, the commencement announcer also struggled with a little more emotion.  Judy maintained her composure and proved what a strong mommy warrior she really is!

May we all strive to be as selfless as this wonderful mom, during our time here on Earth! She definitely deserves an M.B.A. in motherhood!
