I
don't know if it is those of us who have lost our mom's that make us
appreciate our dads that much more but it happens. As the years passed
after my mom's death, I grew closer and closer to my dad. As I had my
own children and looked at the world
through a different lens, as a parent, I could appreciate the
unconditional sacrifice and hard work a parent makes, especially, dads,
who many times feel like they are fighting alone. It is because of my
father's example of hard work and loyalty that I value family so much.
So today, I honor him and say thank you! Happy Father's Day Dad!
